Dennis Hall Camp coming up at CCHS

I know a number of Camel wrestlers have been active this spring competing in events in numerous states.  A tremendous opportunity is coming up next month right here at CCHS on May 13-15 when Olympic Silver Medalist and World Gold Medalist Dennis Hall will be in town for his World Gold Wrestling Camp.  This is a chance to meet and learn from a world class athlete and world championship caliber wrestler.  The attached flyer has all of the information on registration or you can contact Jay or Krista Yenter for more information.

BACK TO BACK STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

A week after winning the dual state championships, the CCMS Camels followed up that amazing performance by winning another school division state championship.  Individual placers were:  Eli Matthews (150 pounds state champion; 2-timer), Brady Wells (75 pounds 3rd place), Ryan Moore (70 pounds 4th place), Robert Metz (165 pounds 4th place), and Bryan Spahr (103 pounds 5th place).

What an awesome year for a pretty young team.  I see a lot of success for this team in the years to come.

STATE DUAL CHAMPIONS!!!

The Campbell County Middle School Camels won the State Dual Team Championship!  This amazing accomplishment was a true team effort and was a result of the hard work and dedication of this entire team.  The team had a very difficult draw, competing against River City and Larue County in the pool round and had to battle to advance out of their pool, but every kid continued to battle all day and in the end, CCMS emerged CHAMPIONS over North Hardin!!!

CCMS  39, River City 38

CCMS  49, Larue County 29

CCMS  39, Union County 38

CCMS 51, North Hardin 30
